Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping trolley. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit/debit card payments by Mastercard Visa and Paypal. If you are shopping from outside the UK your credit card company will convert payment to your own currency.

The information you give online is securely encrypted, but if you prefer you can telephone your payment details through to the shop on +44 (0)1994 241333 between 9.30 and 5.30 UK time. We guarantee that your details will not be passed on to any other organisation.

Shipping And Handling Shipping charges are calculated, based on the weight of your parcel.

UK orders are sent by first class post. European deliveries (EU and non-EU) are sent by European air mail small packet, (parcels weighing in excess of 2 kg will be split into two or more smaller parcels).Non- EU customers should check the VAT non-payable box on the order form (but don't panic if you forget as we always check and charge the appropriate amount) .

Zone 1 countries (including America, Canada etc) are sent World Zone 1 small packet air-mail.

Zone 2 countries (Australia, China etc.) are charged at World Zone 2 small packet air-mail rates. A small surcharge is made to cover the costs of packaging materials.

You will be informed if there is any delay in obtaining stocks of any product that we run out of, or that we do not have sufficient of one dye lot in stock to satisfy your order.

Delivery Schedule We will normally send your order to you within 2 business days. However, in the event of an order requiring a quantity of one dye batch number which we do not hold in stock, a sufficient quantity of a single batch number will be ordered to prevent differences in dye lots spoiling a garment. International orders are generally received within a week of dispatch but times do vary depending upon the destination of the order.

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is chargable. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .

Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site and cannot be read at any point while on the internet.

Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction and will replace any item which is faulty. Advice is free at any time on skills, pattern problems, colour substitution etc.

Privacy Policy Colourway do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. We occasionally mail customers with news of new products or sales events - If you wish to be removed from our customer mail list, please send us a e-mail with your request.

Returns Policy If you decide that you do not like a yarn or colour we accept returns of current yarns (within 2 weeks of order ideally), as long as they are in saleable condition - still with the original bands in place. We will either replace with an acceptable alternative or refund your credit card or set the value of the yarn against another order. In these cases we do not refund your return postage for the item about which you have changed your mind. In the case of yarn which is faulty in some way (an excessive number of knots for example), please contact us by e-mail or telephone to arrange an immediate replacement, we will give any necessary instructions for returning the yarn to us or once again offer a refund or credit. In these cases we will refund any postal charges for Royal Mail First or Second Class post that you incur.
