Description: The magazine contains our usual mix of fashion and editorial
features. The four fashion stories are:
English Eccentrics - A beautiful collection of very classic designs
using Kid Silk Haze, 4 Ply Soft and Kid Classic with highlights of Lurex Shimmer.
Knitted in soft dusky shades, the garments are body skimming to flatter and
accentuate the feminine form. Photographed against a backdrop of faded grandeur,
the elegant designs make for a wonderful contrast.
Urban Warriors - Designers have taken their inspiration
from military wear. Garments include long coats, belted jackets and chunky
cabled jackets, featuring patch pockets and epaulet details. The garments
are knitted in new shades of Cork and Polar in shades of deep chocolate, stone
and camouflage green.
Enchanted Forest - A very dramatic collection photographed
in a magical setting of a deep woodland. The designs are knitted in rich shades
of black, ink, moss green, copper, mustard and berry red. There are jackets
and coats decorated with flowers and foliage from Sasha Kagan and Louisa Harding,
a crochet Chenille sweater with fur trim and an embellished tunic with tassel
detail from Kim Hargreaves.
Wish You Were Here - Take a step back in time with a 50's inspired caravan story. Featuring designs like Kaffe Fassett's Powder Puff sweater teamed with Checkerboard scarf in ice cream colours, Sarah Dallas's plaid and stripe sweater in a mix of Felted Tweed and Kid Silk Haze and Brandon Mably's reworked design winter Old Tiles.
