We have retained the excellent styling and photography flair of Kim Hargreaves
and Joey Toller for 3 of the stories, whilst also introducing a new team for
one of the stories, Emma Freemantle, stylist and Gisella Toress, photographer.

is the second of Rowan's brochures for Spring 2005. Dedicated to fancy yarns

Title: Seven Easy Pieces
Description: A collection of seven single simple patchwork projects
by Pauline Smith with beginners in mind. These are skillfully designed to use
just ten fabrics selected from the Rowan Kaffe Fassett Fabric Collection.

The Traveller - An exciting collection of bold patterned garments with

with a classic VW van, a long line `Shaded Diamond' coat from Kaffe Fassett
and a dramatic `Tom Tom' cardigan from Louisa Harding sit next to the more restful
'Baluchistan Stripe' with plaited details from Sasha Kagan.
Funny Girl - Knitted in bright shades of 4 Ply Cotton

Yarn: Linen Print is one of our wonderful new yarns for
this Spring/Summer. There are eight shades available, blush, pip, peachy, cocktail,
moody, crush, sandy and refresher. Linen Print has an unusual knitted construction
and is made from 70% viscose and 30% linen.
Description: Photographed in and around an Italian villa
near Rome, the collection includes seventeen designs for men and women. Garments
photographed at night have a glamorous look and include a long line coat and
a fringed skirt. These contrast with the playful feel of those shot around the
pool which include a laced tunic, chevron vest and mesh cardigan. The collection
also features accessories, including a scarf and shawl.

with drop stitch details, a vest featuring a racing back, a crocheted mini skirt,
and a batwing sweater with striped detailed bands. Amongst the accessories are

Description: Cotton Braid, an exciting cotton/linen mix
(68% cotton, 22% viscose, 10% linen), braided yarn in 8 shades, is new for Rowan

The Art Deco buildings and 30's swimming pools found in Frinton-On-Sea provides
a perfect backdrop for this brochure, with designs inspired by the deco paradise
of Miami and Florida. Simple-to-knit shapes like the 'Malibu' net ponchos, `Mambo'

Urban Warriors - Designers have taken their inspiration from military

Enchanted Forest - A very dramatic collection photographed

and coats decorated with flowers and foliage from Sasha Kagan and Louisa Harding,
a crochet Chenille sweater with fur trim and an embellished tunic with tassel

Wish You Were Here - Take a step back in time with a 50's inspired
caravan story. Featuring designs like Kaffe Fassett's Powder Puff sweater teamed
with Checkerboard scarf in ice cream colours, Sarah Dallas's plaid and stripe
sweater in a mix of Felted Tweed and Kid Silk Haze and Brandon Mably's reworked
design winter Old Tiles.

a meterage of approx 20m per ball. Minimally shot in winter light against a

winter white. This story contains a textured coat, oversized cabled sweater
